What is your cancellation policy?
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled, as they guarantee your spot on the tour.
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I pay cash?
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and tours often sell out quickly. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Cash is only accepted for last minute tour guests.
What if I don't have a Visa, MasterCard or Discover?
Please e-mail us at info@ashevillefoodtours.com with your preferred method of payment. We will try to accommodate your needs.
Are there special rates for seniors or children?
Currently we do not have discounted tickets.
Can children come on the tour?
Children are welcome. We love kids! If they will be eating on the tour, it will be necessary to purchase a ticket for them. This tour involves about 2 hours of walking and may not be suitable for all ages. Strollers may be difficult to maneuver on the hills, stairs and cobblestones. We recommend a front/back pack.
How much food is served on the tour?
There are about 8-10 stops for tastings on the tour. For most people, there is enough food to make a meal.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Due to the wide variety of food served during the tour, we are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Are there vegetarian options on the tour?
Yes. We are unable to accommodate specific vegetarian requests. However, there will be several stops where you will find non-meat choices
Are there kosher options on the tour?
Unfortunately, we do not offer kosher foods on this particular tour.
What beverages are served on the tour?
Stops on the tour may include beer, wine, coffee, tea etc. Bottled water may be purchased along the way.
Can I take pictures or video on the tour?
Yes! Asheville is beautiful in every season and we encourage pictures. You can even share them with us.
Can we shop on the tour?
Though we will point out delightful boutiques, gift shops and specialty shops during the tour, we request that you save your shopping until after the tour.
Can pets come on the tour?
Asheville is a pet-friendly city. However, with exception of guide dogs, pets are not allowed on the tour.
Can we book a private tour?
Private tours are available and can be arranged directly through us.
What if it is raining on the day of our tour?
A little rain doesn't slow us down. Tours take place rain or shine. Be sure to check the forecast and dress appropriately.
Are restrooms available during the tour?
Yes, there are restrooms available during the tour.
Do you have Gift Certificates available?
Yes. Gift Certificates are $39/each and my be purchased by calling 828-273-0365. Each Gift Certificate is good for one year from purchase and may be used for any of the tours...based on availability.
Do the restaurants or food shops on the tour offer a return discount?
Yes. At the end of each tour everyone on the tour will receive an Asheville Food Passport. All of our tour partners offer some discount when you return to dine or shop. This Food Passport is good for 5 days and may be used multiple times during the effective dates.
