Each Asheville Food Tour will visit seven to ten different specialty food shops and handpicked neighborhood restaurants, offering a wide variety of food tastings from artful ethnic appetizers washed down with a splash of pinot to sizzling filets with a malty lager. All of the tours will emphasize the rich history of Asheville with its legacy of lavish hospitality and homegrown embellishments along with its modern exploration into spicy multi-cultural riches. With its strong roots in Southern heritage, Asheville has branched into a cosmopolitan Mecca of abundant food choices from all around the world, which we Ashville food enthusiasts are eager to share with our community and visitors.
On our tours you will not only have a chance to experience the finest artisan gourmet food, you will also have the opportunity to meet the chefs and storeowners, many of whom have pioneered the revitalization of Asheville’s downtown area to make it the historic urban habitat that it is today. Getting to know these rare individuals, whose hours are devoted to the exquisite subtleties of food, is a chance not to be missed. • Tours are held rain or shine
• Wear comfortable shoes and clothing
• Seating preferences during tours are limited
• There will be stairs to climb and sidewalk inclines without handrails
• We are unable to make substitutions for dietary restrictions
• Each tour is distinctively different
• Please no shopping during the tour, but remember your discount passport!
• A portion of each ticket sale is returned to local food related charities

Small and Intimate
Asheville Food Tours are limited to 12 guests in order to allow ample opportunity for each participant to interact with the tour host, chefs and merchants whom you will meet.
Public Tours
Advance purchase required. Each tour is limited to only 12 people, so please make your reservations early.
